In the Flower Friend series, Carnival flower's impish and playful face is surrounded by sparkling butter-yellow petals. She is made up of multiple layers of very thin pieces of colored glass that I fuse together in a kiln. The top layer is clear glass, trapping underneath it 2 air bubbles that form the eyes. Bits of dichroic glass and gold luster add sparkle. 1 3/4" wide x 2 1/4" tall (including copper bail) x 1/4" thick. Choice of chain: surgical steel or copper ball chain.
